Day 38: "In your majesty ride forth victoriously in behalf of truth, humility and righteousness; let your right hand display awesome deeds." Psalm 45:4 In my quiet time this morning, I did a study on my "spiritual timeline" It was interesting to see how the past "forty-something" years has played itself out. There are GREAT times, and not so great times. Imagine, if you will, the craziest roller coaster that you've ever seen. That's what my timeline looked like. Up and down. Sustained periods of the peaks and then periods of the valleys. My mind tried to comfort me and tell me that I'm not alone in this ride. Everyone has faced the high and lows of life. But the Holy Spirit told me that I was dealing with my life in this, and yes everyone has ridden the roller coaster of life, but deal with my adventure. So as I deal with my adventure I leave these thoughts:
1. Lord, I choose today as the turning point in my life. I am pressing on to flatten out my life's ride.
2. Lord, take me to a new level of belonging to You.
3. Reign over me as never before.
4. Lord, nothing is off limits to You.
5. Pour out Your Spirit upon me, and immerse me in a mighty way.
Please share in these prayer points as we seek God's will and seek revival in our youth. Read Psalm 45 and 66 to get a full picture of God's grace and mercy. And how we can "ride" victoriously through Him.
Blessings, Jody

Jody, I know all about the roller coaster ride of life!, but God was always there even when I tried to figure it out on my own!
ReplyDeleteThe hard part is remembering He is with us before we get on and after we get off the roller coaster.
